About this Site 

Nice & Easy Desserts is a personal website created and maintained by me, Frenchy Chu. Unlike most of the large dessert recipe  sites on the Internet with thousands of recipes, Nice & Easy Desserts is a personal website, with only about a hundred dessert recipes - all tested by my family or my friends with yours truly. We invite you to try the recipes. Think of this site as our family sharing the recipes in our recipe binder with you. As we cook the recipes multiple times, we often think of improvements and updates of the recipes. So keep in mind that what you see here is a work in progress.

Where we get the recipes
Many of the recipes are old family recipes, tested particularly by my Mom and my sister. Some were just made up, usually were experiments done with friends; and many of them are those that we pull from cookbooks, magazines, and newspaper clippings we've collected over the years. The recipes shown here use mostly whole food ingredients and several things are from cans or prepared foods. We believe in a varied, healthy diet, using real butter, fresh milk, real cream, eggs, fresh fruits and juices, and real flavorings.
